Helen Lake and Cirque Peak

Well, Gesine and Braeden came to visit last week. They hung around Calgary for awhile and on the weekend we were joined by Reg.

Janice and I decided that Helen Lake and possible Cirque Peak might be fun for them. forgetting that 14 kilometers in the mountains can be hard!

We made it to the lake and Reg, Janice and I went 1/2 way up Cirque to get the perfect view. Notice the smile on Reg's face.

Braeden was very happy to be with us too (actually he was, he just doesn't like to smile :-)

And the trail was muddy!

Vertical Gain: 500 meters to lake, 750 meters to high point
Distance: 14 km to lake, 16 km to high point
Time of Hike: 6 hours
